Horizon Property Management Inc. conducts a preliminary assessment to determine the current status of the Corporation from physical and financial perspectives. The preliminary assessment consists of:

  • Physical Review and Orientation of Property
  • Financial Review of Operating Budget
  • Review of Existing Maintenance Records and Supplier Contracts
  • Review Status of Technical Audit Deficiency Repairs and Resolution Process 
  • Review Status of Reserve Fund Study, Investment Planning and Implementation of Repairs
  • Meeting with Board of Directors to Prioritize Action Items

With a clear understanding of the Corporation’s present position and past history, the Board of Directors’ goals become the focus of management.

Horizon Property Management Inc. works to form a partnership with the Board of Directors from the outset, and places an emphasis on developing lines of communication to ensure that the Board of Directors is kept up to date on key developments as they arise.

We understand and appreciate that individual Board member’s will seek differing levels of involvement in the day to day operations of the Condominium. Our commitment and flexible approach will serve the various Board members’ requirements.

In the event that the Board wishes to involve Residents by way of committee, management will assist in helping define the roles, and by coordinating the efforts to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
 
Final decisions are the Board’s to make and, when necessary, every measure will be taken to arrange professional consultation on behalf of the Board to ensure that all interests are best served and protected.
